The inclusion of Simon Shaw is a master stroke as he has the power and durability to match and surpass anything the Boks might try to produce. When i watch him play, there is a great look of a rampant Welsh forward about him, go SI GO.

When i first saw the squad selection i felt there was a good chance of a really excellent achievement possibly a white wash (no pun intended). However, i was disapointed with the inclusion last Saturday of Phil Vickery (been a great player but past his sell by date)and the delay in replacing him when he was being conned out of the game was a disapointing Managerial cock up.
One or two selections have not helped the Lions to get the upper hand, however, Tom Croft has been brilliant and i have everything crossed that the Lions can put on a great show that they are capable of and level the series. As a young lad i can remember the Mcbride team and their achievements are all the more enduring with each tour that passes.
I would love to see Paul O,Connell and his team of Lions give me another fantastic memory. Come on the Taffs, oops, Lions.
